Help spread the word
About this fundraiser:
On October 18, all students and staff will participate in the Wolf Pack Run, the year’s largest Jamestown Schools PTO fundraiser. Students are encouraged to run laps alongside their classmates to raise money in support of leveling up all things classroom-based, arts-based, performance-based, and more at the schools.
This is one of the BEST days of the school year! The main goal? To have fun! Secondary goals? To exercise in the fresh October air with friends and raise money for the schools. Money raised goes right back into the school, enabling all kinds of improvements and activities. Last year we raised just over $43,000, which was used to improve the sound and performance space at Lawn for the school play, concerts, and more, outfit 6th grade-built remotely-operated vehicles (ROVs) with underwater cameras so that they could observe the local marine environment, bring in a Grammy award-winning artist and musician to workshop with all classes at Melrose and create a school song with the students, and so much more (providing materials for a newly established 4th grade Safety Patrol and a Melrose Kindness Club, funding a gardening shed for the Melrose Gardening Club, outfitting 8th grade ELA and writing classes with standing desks . . . the list goes on and on). We'd LOVE to be able to do just as much for the students, schools, and staff this year as we did last year. The question is, can we beat $43,000 raised? It's go time! Help us have the BEST year ever!
Your donations will help pay for:
